Fulham enjoyed the better of the chances last weekend against Bristol City but needed an 84th-minute Tom Cairney strike to rescue a point after Nahki Wells had given the home side the lead. Scott Parker’s men have lost just one of their last 11 league games and trail second-placed West Bromwich by six points as things stand.
Brentford were back to their ruthless best last weekend as they hammered a struggling Sheff Wednesday side 5-0 with help from four different goalscorers. The victory helped end a run of five league games without a win, but Thomas Frank’s men remain ten points off the pace in the battle for automatic promotion.
Brentford were seriously impressive last weekend and should be good enough to secure at least a point here.
Brentford’s last four league games have all produced three or more total goals and after scoring five against Sheff Wednesday, I’m expecting a high-scoring affair again here. Fulham’s game against Bristol City may have only produced two goals but Scott Parker’s men were unlucky not to score more.
